How do I place an order online?
The Babyland website uses a 'shopping cart' which enables you to browse through our product departments (located at the left of the screen) and add items to your cart by clicking the 'BUY NOW' button located at the end of each product description. By clicking this button you are not obligated to any purchses until the final checkout stage. You can add and remove as many items to and from your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the 'VIEW CART' button at the top right of the screen. The shopping cart is simply used to track which items are of interest to you and that you may wish to purchase. No personal information is requested or collected about you throughout this entire process until you finalise your online order.

Can I order by fax, mail or phone?
Yes, we accept orders by fax, mail and phone.
You may still choose to assemble your order online (using the shopping cart) and then print your shopping cart contents when you've reached the 'Checkout' point (do not click on "Submit Order") and fax, mail or phone your order as follows:

How is postage calculated?
Given the varying sizes of our products and destinations of our customers, Babyland will confirm postage/freight with you once we have received your order. Please feel free to contact us prior to placing an order should you require to know delivery costs prior to ordering.

How do you deliver?
Babyland chooses to deliver via either Australia Post or Fastway Couriers (Tasmania). Fastway delivers to your door (home or office).

Do you deliver overseas?
Currently we do not provide overseas delivery.

Is GST included in the prices?
Goods and Services Tax (GST) - On 1 July 2000 a "Goods and Services Tax" was introduced in Australia. Prices displayed on www.babyland-tas.com from this date include 10% GST. Babyland has registered for the GST and has obtained an Australian Business Number (ABN), number being 307 277 908 08. Invoices comply with the GST tax invoice requirements and include our ABN on the tax invoice accordingly.

How can I pay for my order?
All payments must be made in, and will be processed in, Australian Dollars (AUD). We gladly accept Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club and American Express cards. Mail orders may be paid via cheque (made out to 'Babyland') and money orders. Orders will be filled once payment is received. Returned cheques are subject to bank fees that may apply.

When is my Credit Card charged?
All credit cards are authorised the day your order is received, and processed the day items are dispatched. Babyland does not request or process any credit card information via the website - all confirmations are primarily done by phone or other alternatives.

Will my personal information be sold to others?
Our web server recognises no information regarding the domain or e-mail addresses of persons visiting our site. Any information we do request from you is ONLY used to fulfil your order. No information is shared with any other organisation - we respect your privacy!

What is your return policy?
Please contact us via telephone if you are not satisfied and wish to exchange or return your purchase. Products may be returned ONLY in orignal condition (all packaging must be intact and must include all tags, instruction booklets etc.,) within ten days of receipt. Where applicable we will exchange the product(s) or refund the purchase price. Please return the product(s) to us with postage paid. Postage charges are not refundable.

We will contact you via telephone to confirm your order and process your payment if you choose to pay with Mastercard, Visa card, Diners Club card or American Express. Purchase items which are in stock will be dispatched in 1-2 days of processing your order. We will notify you if any items have temporarily sold out, become out of stock, or require additional delivery time. As freight costs vary we will give you an exact quote when your order is confirmed with us.
